With our Embrace Youth, we seek to carry out the vision and values of Embrace Church in a setting suited toward middle and high school students. Our youth are led by a group of volunteer leaders who are committed to giving students a space where they can be known and loved. We believe that middle school and high school years are extremely important in the shaping of who these students will become in their relationship with Christ. Because of this, we give space for adult mentors outside of their families to pour into them, in addition to the investment they're already receiving from their own parents.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our youth gathering looks very similar to that of our adult small groups in that the youth meet in a home and share a meal together. Most Sunday nights also include teaching time and time to break up into smaller groups for discussion. Currently we have one group that gathers at the home of Jon and Kathy Myles on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:30. This group is open to all 6th through 8th graders. We are working to expand this ministry toward high school age students and will continue to develop more groups that will meet in other homes in the future.
